Career Counseling

School counselors at Dallas High School provide and advocate for individual students’ college and career awareness, exploration, and post secondary planning/decision making.  The counseling team supports a student's right to choose from the wide array of options available after they complete high school.
Additionally students will engage with Naviance in their Advisory Groups to assist students in developing post-secondary plans and goals for life after high school.  More information to come soon!

Military Options

The U.S. Military consists of five service branches: Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force. The military provides positions to thousands of highly qualified high school graduates each year. Entrance requirements differ among branches. Interested students and their families should meet with a recruiter from their interested branch. See Mrs. Landis in the counseling center for the schedule of Military visits at DHS.
